Peeta Mellark

Peeta isn't too keen on parties. The one down in Venice was different because it had been like nothing he'd ever seen before and he was almost positive the Capitol hadn't been behind it. But Katniss showing up had made him more suspicious; who did the Capitol want more than her? When it was just Peeta himself, it was a lot easier to accept things.

So he doesn't go to the party and, instead, gets together food and a few sweets (he still hasn't gotten the hang of the Replicators and the cakes come out an unappetizing shade of green even if they do still taste good) and goes to find Katniss. Maybe she'll accept something from him a lot easier than from the ship.

"Katniss? It's me, Peeta."
